June 2026 For Bryndly

 So i have been helping my son and now we almost have things in place for him to spead his wings.

Look to the stars

 Over the past fre months the one thing that Bryndly would like to learn more about is plaets and stars, so I have enablrf him to do this and will look at seting up nother blog for him that is about this.

Brynflu is home schooled due to his SEN needs and not fitting into the "Right Box", so I have been home schooling him.

This enables him to work on the things that he loves and to work on his strength also.

So over the past 12month we have been focusing on English, Maths, Geography and Astronomy.

Usiong the BBC Bite Size, book(s), youtube and other online materials too.

New for May 2026 By Miss K L Slomczynski

 Over the next few months I am going to help my children by learning some life skills now that my health is failing me.

I have helped them all to look at what they love to do and are intrested in and use this to their advantage.

So I have set them all up a blog, ebay account and youtube channel.

BUT due to the age og my children none of these can be in their name(s) until they are over the age of 18.

This is something that I fully surport and until then these will be over seen by myslef and their dad.

Due to self employment we are looking at ways that the boys can work partime and learn the family business.

It is amazing how you can work in media when you are a child under the age of 18, but not really another line of work until you are 13 and over.

So yes at times we have inclused some photos of hour children in my art work, but with their permission and also not facing the camera.

Once they are older they will get 100% ownership of the photos that I have taken and can choise what they wish to do with them.

2021 Happy New Year I Hope You Dance By Lee Ann Womack

With 2025 now drawing to a close I am taking this time to wish you a Happy New Year for 2026.

Usually I am to do a you tube video to welcoming in the new year and to show case the year I have had.

Sadly I have not been able to do this for 2025, due to my illness, disabilities and once again facing homelessness.

These are things that I would like to talk about more in 2026, also to showcase thought out 2026 to promote information and awareness about these.

I know that the say “A picture paints a thousand words.” So I will aim to do this though my art.

Anyone who would like to know more about this or to take part can do so by getting in touch with me or following me on social media.

Saturnalia is an ancient Roman festival and holiday in honour of the god Saturn, held on 17 December in the Julian calendar and later expanded with festivities until 19 December.

By the 1st century BC, the celebration had been extended until 23 December, for a total of seven days of festivities. The holiday was celebrated with a sacrifice at the Temple of Saturn, in the Roman Forum, and a public banquet, followed by private gift-giving, continual partying, and a carnival atmosphere that overturned Roman social norms: gambling was permitted, and masters provided table service for their slaves as it was seen as a time of liberty for both slaves and freedmen alike.

A common custom was the election of a "King of the Saturnalia", who gave orders to people, which were followed and presided over the merrymaking. The gifts exchanged were usually gag gifts or small figurines made of wax or pottery known as sigillaria. The poet Catullus called it "the best of days".
